PropelYourMSP is the leading vCIO and QBR platform for live and collaborative strategic meetings, designed specifically for managed service providers (MSPs).
It helps MSPs plan, prepare, and run high-impact executive conversations by bringing IT roadmaps, budgets, audits and live collaborative presentations into one unified system. Instead of relying on static reports, vCIOs use PropelYourMSP to collaborate with clients in real time and align technology decisions with business goals.
PropelYourMSP is built for MSPs that care deeply about client engagement and long-term relationships.
It’s designed for MSPs who want to be proactive, not reactive, and who see vCIO services and QBRs as strategic opportunities, not just reporting exercises. These MSPs use technology planning to guide conversations, build trust, and stay aligned with their clients’ business goals.
Propel is ideal for MSPs that believe great vCIO services are a true differentiator and are committed to delivering consistent, high-quality strategic meetings that strengthen retention and drive growth.
We have owned, operated, and scaled an MSP for over 20 years, and we are still running it today. Everything in the platform is shaped by our experience delivering vCIO services to real clients.
Unlike most vCIO tools that focus on reports and portals, Propel is designed around the client's experience, typically a CEO, owner, or executive. We built it to support clear, engaging, and confident strategic conversations that strengthen trust and long-term relationships.
In practice, Propel is the only vCIO platform that enables fully customizable, live, collaborative client meetings. vCIOs can adjust roadmaps, budgets, and priorities in real time, creating alignment and buy-in during the meeting instead of after it.
This combination of operator-led design, executive-focused experience, and true real-time collaboration is what sets PropelYourMSP apart.
PropelYourMSP was founded in 2018 and officially launched at IT Nation that same year. Since then, it has been adopted by MSPs around the world to support strategic vCIO and QBR delivery.
Our roots go back even further. We founded our managed service provider in 2003 and continue to operate it today.
No. Our goal is to build PropelYourMSP for the long term, not to flip it.
We founded Propel to solve real problems we faced as MSP owners, and we’re committed to growing it into a durable, independent software company.
We are constantly improving and adding features.
Normally, we release updates every week.
Yes. Early-stage and growing MSPs are in a great position to benefit from Propel.
When you’re small, it’s the ideal time to build strong, differentiated vCIO services. Establishing clear processes and strategic planning early makes it much easier to scale as you grow.
Many MSPs wait until they’re larger, often when clients start complaining about a lack of strategic guidance, before trying to formalize their vCIO services. At that point, it’s harder and more disruptive to change.
For growing MSPs, nothing is more important than reducing churn and building long-term client loyalty. Strong vCIO services play a major role in achieving that.
Yes. Because we operate a large MSP ourselves, we understand the challenges of managing many vCIOs — including forecasting, standardizing delivery, and comparing performance across teams.
Propel provides multiple management views that give the vCIO manager clear visibility into standardization, client progress, and roadmap execution across the entire client base.
Propel also supports multiple technology stacks, different client processes, multi-brand environments, and deep customization, allowing larger MSPs to adapt the platform to their structure and service model.
Yes. PropelYourMSP is designed to support MSPs operating across multiple brands, locations, and regions.
We actively supports MSPs through the acquisition and integration process.
When an acquired MSP is already using Propel, we help merge environments into a single account.
Our multi-brand support makes it possible to begin standardizing vCIO services, roadmaps, and meeting frameworks without immediately changing the acquired company’s identity.
Yes. Propel supports multiple languages and currencies.
We currently support English, French, German, Dutch, Spanish, and Croatian, along with major currencies including USD, CAD (Canadian Dollar, GBP (UK Pound), AUD (Australian Dollar), NZD (New Zealand Dollar), ZAR (South African Rand), EUR (Euro), and MXN (Mexican Peso).
If you need support for an additional language or currency, we’re happy to work with you to make it happen. We will ask for your help validating translations to ensure that they are the right terminology and local usage.
Most MSPs are up and running within a week.
We begin with a dedicated onboarding call with your team to walk through the platform and complete the initial configuration. This session typically takes about an hour.
After that, we remain available to support your team as they prepare and deliver their first strategic client presentation. We also schedule a follow-up meeting about a week later to review progress, answer questions, and fine-tune workflows if needed.
Ongoing support is always available, whether it’s your first presentation or your hundredth; we’re here to help.
Every new MSP receives hands-on onboarding from our team.
We begin with a live onboarding session to configure your environment, review your workflows, and ensure the platform is aligned with your vCIO process.
We then support you as you prepare for and deliver your first strategic client meetings. A follow-up session is scheduled shortly after to review progress, answer questions, and optimize your setup.
Beyond onboarding, our support team remains available to assist your team at any time. Our clients consistently praise our responsiveness.

PropelYourMSP is priced per “propelled” company.
A propelled company is a client you choose to manage in Propel for strategic planning. You have full control over which clients are included, allowing you to start with a subset of your client base and expand over time.
A "Propelled Company" is a company for which you activate Propel Your MSP's features (Stack, Budget, Audit, Projects, vCIO Process tracking, etc.). It's a subset of the companies imported from your PSA.
Visa, MasterCard, or American Express.
Yes, packages are billed month to month. You can downgrade if you un-Propel companies, but you will lose their data.
All “Propelled Companies” will look up warranty information. If you want to look up even non-Propelled Companies, you can add that as an add-on.
You can choose to “Propel” zero companies and only take the warranty lookup add-on. You would be missing out on many great features of Propel Your MSP though, but you can do that, yes. 😉
